And if you can’t make up your mind, we’ll make it even easier for you ...

Here is a suggestion for a 7-day stay at Gran Camping Zarautz:

Day 1: Getting to know Zarautz
Do you already know Zarautz? We’re sure there are still places to discover ... Don’t miss the beach, the promenade, the old town, its pintxos (tapas), and more. And if you are a bit more adventurous, try your hand at surfing:
Day 2: Discovering our customs: Txakoli
There is time for everything and you’re sure to find enough to enjoy yourself and get to know some of the local customs. We recommend: Visit and tasting at the Talai Berri txakoli winery to learn all the secrets of txakoli (traditional Basque wine). Talai Berri is just a stone’s throw from the campsite entrance. Don’t miss it. It’s well worth a visit! Visit and tasting in small groups. After the visit, on the terrace and surrounded by 12 hectares of vineyards, we will taste Talai Berri txakoli and Eusko Label quality products.
Day 3: Visit to Donosti (San Sebastian)
You can’t leave without visiting Donosti. We propose a complete itinerary: take the train, which runs frequently, so you don’t have to worry about parking, and discover the wonderful beaches, the old town, the shopping area, the pintxos and restaurants, and much more. There are options for all tastes. If you go with children you mustn’t miss the Aquarium, a real adventure for them
Day 4: Discovering nature’s wonders: the Flysch
Discover a fascinating geological world on the coast of Gipuzkoa with our boat tour to explore the impressive Flysch. This trip will take you through spectacular landscapes where the cliffs reveal millions of years of the history of the earth. Ideal for nature and geology lovers, our tour will allow you to discover these unique rock formations, admire the extraordinary layers of sediment and understand how they are an open book of the Earth’s history. Join us and be amazed by the secrets that the coast of Gipuzkoa holds!
Day 5: Gastronomic day
The Basque Country cannot be understood without its gastronomic culture. We recommend allowing yourself to be tempted by a cider house menu at Arizia Sagardotegia, in Zarautz. Organic, local and quality products are the essence of their philosophy. All of this in well cared for and pleasant surroundings, with spectacular views, in the company of the Arregui family from Zarautz.
Day 6: Get moving! Descent of the River Oria by kayak or SUP
After a day of gastronomy, we suggest you do something a bit more active, and for this the descent of the mouth of the Oria River is a perfect option. This is an activity in which you only need to know how to swim. Enjoy it with your family, as a couple or with friends. It’s definitely worth a try!
Day 7: Indoor day
We are in the Basque Country and there is bound to be the odd day of rain, but that won’t stop us from having fun and enjoying ourselves. We propose 2 activities from which to choose according to your preferences: Are you passionate about fashion? And history? Don’t miss a visit to the Balenciaga Museum. You’ll go on a journey through history represented by his dresses. Or do you prefer something more active? Try indoor climbing at Klimb Zarautz, where the philosophy is to understand climbing not only as a sporting activity, but also as a cultural and social activity. Respect for the environment and for your fellow climbers are also fundamental. Climbing is much more than just scaling walls.

You can buy tickets for all the activities at our reception. Just ask us!
