The Gran Camping Zarautz in Guipúzcoa has celebrated the presentation of the ‘Green Key’ award to its facilities and management
On the 14th of June, the institutional ceremony for the presentation of the ‘Green Key‘ award was held at the Gran Camping Zarautz facilities, attended by representatives of the Department of Tourism and the Zarautz Town Council, as well as the owners and staff of the company.
Mr. José Palacios, President of ADEAC, the NGO responsible for the international Green Key programme in Spain, handed over the ‘Green Key’ award. In Spain, there are only two certified campsites, including the one in Zarautz.
Gran Camping Zarautz has launched this initiative because it considers it necessary to contribute to achieving a change in values, attitudes and behaviour towards sustainable tourism, here and now.
